Andres Bozzolo
Andres has spent his entire life in the outdoors, born in a rural town, he grew up working with animals on a ranch and learning to rock climb when he was 10, and spent the next 30 years dedicating himself to his passion for mountaineering, climbing and backcountry skiing, both as an instructor and guide. Andres studied forestry and botany, and especially loves Patagonia’s windy skies and lenticular clouds, and its people and culture. During the winter, you can find Andres with his family in Pucón, in Chile’s Lake District region, enjoying the ski season. He was one of the founders of the local backcountry ski fest, “Avalancha en el Volcán.” During the summer months, he relocates to Chile Chico, where he is a Partner and Operation Manager of Patagonia Huts, the hut-to-hut trekking system in Patagonia Park, a bi-national private reserve.
“Once you go deep into Patagonia, you’ll never see the world in the same way.
