Day 1: Punta Arenas

Reception at Punta Arenas airport and transfer to your Hotel.

Accommodation: Hotel Cabo de Hornos or similar.

Dinner not included.

Day 2: Punta Arenas – Torres del Paine (6 to 7 hours) (B, L, D).

Private transfer from the city of Punta Arenas to Torres del Paine National Park, during which we will visit the city of Puerto Natales, located 254 Km north of Punta Arenas.  Afterwards we will continue towards Torres del Paine, stopping along the way at the Natural Monument of the Milodón Cave.

Accommodation and dinner: Hotel Río Serrano, located in the west sector of Torres del Paine National Park.

Day 3: Full Day PN Torres del Paine (B, L, D).

In the morning we will visit the west sector of Torres del Paine National Park: Lake Grey, where it is possible to see the icebergs that come from the glacier, which shares the lake’s name; and the park’s administration office.

Lunch: Hotel Río Serrano.

In the afternoon we will explore the flora and fauna, the lakes and Salto Grande.

Accommodation and dinner: Hotel Río Serrano.

Day 4: Full Day trekking Torres del Paine (B, L, D).

In the morning, we trek to Condor Lookout. This short trek takes us to a lookout with one of the best panoramic views of Torres del Paine, with a walking ascent of around 1.5 hours, after which you arrive at the lookout with its amazing views of Macizo Paine, Lake Pehoe y Lake Nordenskjöld.

Upon returning we will enjoy our boxed lunch in the area.

Afterwards we will continue along the main road of the park until the “Portería” (one of the park access’s) at Lake Sarmiento, where we will start along what is known as the “Flora y Fauna” track, which takes its name from the abundance of flowers and guanacos that can be found in the area. At the same time we will view cave paintings left by the early Tehuelche people that populated the area. This track will take 4 hours to complete and ends facing the Macizo Paine; our transport will be awaiting us there by the “Portería” at Laguna Amarga to take us back to our hotel.

Day 5: Trekking Mirador Base Torres (6 – 8 hours) (B, BL, C).

Recommended start time: 9:00am.

The journey starts with an hour and a half ascent with fantastic views of the surrounding lakes and the hanging glacier of Mt Almirante Nieto (2670m above sea level), arriving at Refugio El Chileno where you will have time to recover. The journey then continues for an hour through a thousand-year-old  forest of Lenga beech trees to the base of “The Moraine” which you must ascend for around 45 minutes before arriving at one of the most impressive parts of the park: “Mirador Torres del Paine.” From here there is an impressive view of Torre Sur (2850m above sea level), Torre Central (2800m above sea level), Torre Norte (2600m above sea level) Cerro Nido de Cóndor and Glacier Torre.

Day 6: Transfer to El Calafate – Argentina (5 hours) (B)

After breakfast we will start off on the route towards the city of El Cafalate in Argentina, which is composed of 30% gravel and 70% asphalt.

Upon arrival at El Calafate we will check into our Hotel, after which you will have the afternoon free to enjoy this lovely city. Located on the shores of Lake Argentino, it is a city famous for its great shopping, where craft shops come together with top quality restaurants.

Accommodation: El Calafate.

Day 7: Perito Moreno Glacier– Full Day (B, L, D).

After breakfast we will start the journey by visiting “Glaciar Perito Moreno”, which is located in Los Glaciares National Park (600.000 hectares) 85 Km from the city of El Calafate, and an amazing 5km in length with a face 60 metres high.

While there is a collection 47 glaciers within the park, Perito Moreno is without a doubt the most famous of all.

To approach the glacier, there is an uncomplicated network of walkways and lookouts which allow you to get sufficiently close to take some fantastic photos of the glacier.

Accommodation: El Calafate.

Day 8: Transfer to El Calafate airport (B)

Transfer to the airport which is located 23 Km from the city.
